The Cedar River Watershed Coalition will hold their fall meeting on Friday, November 21, 2014 in Waverly. The theme of the meeting is “Selling Practices that Work.”
Presenters include:
- Investing in Conservation: Charles City RIOS Project – Eileen Bader, The Nature Conservancy
- Selling the Urban Practices that Work – Lucy Hershberger, Forever Green
- Selling the Agricultural Practices that Work – Mitchell County Farmers; Kari Gardner, Rock Creek Watershed Project
Prior to the formal meeting, interested participants are invited to tour watershed improvement and flood risk reduction activities undertaken by the City of Waverly at 10 AM.
